- Preheat the oven to 140 degrees.
- Make sure the Echte Boter and eggs are at room temperature.
- Mix the Echte Boter, salt and lemon zest whilst warming it gently, for example au bain marie, until the butter is creamy. Pay attention not to melt the butter.
- Mix in the caster sugar.
- Beat it lightly with a mixer.
- Mix in the egg - in stages - with a mixer.
- When all the egg is mixed in, fold in the flour.
- Pour the batter into a well-greased bundt mould.
- Bake the tulband cake in the pre-heated oven at 140 degrees for at least 60 minutes.
- When you touch the baked tulband and it springs back it is ready to come out of the oven..
- Immediately remove the cake from the mould by inverting the tulband onto a plate.
- Cut a generous slice and spread with Echte Boter… delicious!
