Echte Boter herb butter

Ingredients

Herb butter from Echte Boter
  • 200 grams salted Echte Boter
  • Chives
  • Parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Pepper
Curried herb butter
  • 200 grams salted Echte Boter
  • 2 grams masala curry powder
  • herb paste
  • Pepper
  • Chives (to taste)
Italian herb butter
  • 200 grams salted Echte Boter
  • 4 heaped tsp sun-dried tomatoes
  • 4 heaped tsp pine-nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 heaped tsp grated mature cheese (Old Alkmaar)
  • Red basil (to taste)
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • Pepper

Method

Method: herb butter

  1. Allow butter to come to room temperature 
  2. Beat the butter in a mixer till creamy 
  3. Chop the chives and parsley fine 
  4. Crush the garlic 
  5. Add the herbs and garlic to the the Echte Boter 
  6. Add pepper to taste 
  7. Mix well 
  8. Serve in a dish with French bread or on grilled meat


Method: curried herb butter

  1. Allow butter to come to room temperature
  2. Beat the butter in a mixer till creamy
  3. Mix the curry powder with a little water to make a paste
  4. Add the paste to the butter
  5. Add pepper to taste
  6. Chop the chives fine
  7. Add to the herb butter
  8. Mix well
  9. Serve in a dish with French bread or on grilled meat


Method: Italian herb butter

  1. Allow butter to come to room temperature
  2. Beat the butter in a mixer till creamy
  3. Put the sundried tomatoes, pine-nuts, red basil, garlic and lemon juice in a food processor and pulse to a fine consistency
  4. Add the paste to the butter
  5. Add the cheese
  6. Add pepper to taste
  7. Mix well
  8. Serve in a dish with French bread or on grilled meat
