- Put milk, egg, sugar and cinnamon (to taste) in a bowl and mix
- Add the butter to a frying pan and warm till the butter melts
- Put the pan on a medium heat
- Dip the bread in the egg mixture
- Gently fry the egg-dipped bread till golden brown
- Turn the bread now and again
- Whilst the French Toast is frying finely slice the fruit
- As soon as the French Toast is ready place it on a plate
- Serve the fruit with the French Toast
- Finish with a dusting of icing sugar
